CBA LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our mobile application, Chandra's GT (also referred to as CGT or Community Golf Tracker) (the “App”).
Information We Collect
When you use the App, we collect the following information:
- Location Data:We collect your device's latitude and longitude coordinates when you record a golf shot. This location data is used to track the location of your shots on the golf course.
- Player ID: Upon your first installation of the App, we generate a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) that serves as your player ID. This UUID is stored in your iCloud account, allowing us to recognize you across multiple devices associated with the same iCloud account.
- App Diagnostics (Optional):We collect anonymous app health telemetry including GPS accuracy metrics, sync retry counts, API response statistics, battery level, thermal state, and memory warnings during active rounds. This data is sent to our servers as “AppRoundSummary” and “AppEvent” records tied to your player ID. You can opt out of diagnostics in the app's Settings screen under “Send app diagnostics.” Opting out stops all future telemetry collection and deletes any queued data.
- Device Information: When diagnostics are enabled, we collect device model, OS version, app version, and build number to help diagnose issues across different hardware.
- Course & Hole Data: We cache course layout data (hole polygons, hazard locations) on your device for offline use. This data originates from our servers and does not include your personal information.
Data Storage
- Location Data: Your golf shot location data is stored on our secure services and is available using the CGT portal.
- Player ID: The UUID is stored in your personal iCloud storage. We do not directly access or store your iCloud data.
- Diagnostics Data: App health telemetry is stored on our secure servers and used solely to improve app reliability and performance. Diagnostics data is retained for 90 days.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers to assist us in operating, maintaining, and improving the App.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data: You can view the location data you have recorded within the App.
- Delete your data: You can delete your recorded shot data within the App. Deleting the App from your device will also remove the locally stored shot data.
- Opt out of diagnostics:You can disable telemetry collection at any time in Settings → “Send app diagnostics.”
Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App.
